Newly renovated and it looks great! The food we ordered was very good. Excellent fish and chips, super fresh. Smoked chicken quesadilla was awesome. Chicken wings not so much. Service was very good.
At night and especially summer weekends it becomes THE hotspot with a large patio and live bands.
The Pattie House lives on! -

Great meal at the bar while playing a couple rounds of trivia. Well worth checking out if cottaging in the area

Brutal slow and untrained service. The owners need to get their act together. When I was coming in with our group I asked a man who was leaving how it was. He said food was ok but service was bad and very slow. I thought he must be exaggerating. Nope. If you don't have an hour to kill waiting for food don't go here.
PS. Food was barely ok. Go to MacDonald's instead. No managers or anyone with authority around to help the poor staff figure anything out. What a perfect example of absentee ownership. -

I stopped in to the Pattie house on the way home from the cottage a couple weeks ago. I ordered a burger to go and have to admit that it was a horrible patty. The bun and garnishments were fresh and ok, but I couldn't even finish the burger. The patty was not seasoned at all, horribly overcooled and flavourless.
I did like the bar area and they had some good beer on tap.
I did not try any of the other items and probably will not return. -

We drove to Coboconk for brunch after a stay at Balsam Lake. There are only a few restaurants along the ON-35 stretch. The Pattie House was recommended, so we decided to stop by. We each ordered a plate of two eggs. The dish comes with potatoes, sausage or bacon, and your choice of toasted bread. It includes a coffee, but we substituted for chocolate milk. The chocolate milk was not your standard chocolate milk, but regular milk mixed with chocolate syrup. The food was pretty decent. The service could have been much better, though. There weren't that many patrons in the restaurant, but we found it difficult to get the attention of the waitresses. When I was ready to pay for the bill, the card machine didn't work so the waitress said she'd get another one but she ended up serving food and never returned. I ended up leaving cash.
